This custom-made Telecaster NECK pickup has two outputs: NORMAL (6.4kOhm – white) and HOT (12kOhm – yellow). It’s like having two pickups in a single package, where the unique tone of each output offers a broad spectrum of sounds.
The NORMAL output has the classic tele neck tone—twangy and bright. Switching to the HOT output will deliver a fatter and warmer tone, adding extra punch and bite. You can install a switch or a push-pull pot, or simply connect the output that works best for you and start playing.
Additionally, we offer the option to build these pickups without an extra coil tap. You can select the DC resistance, Alnico alloy, and bottom bobbin color to customize your pickup exactly as you desire.

IMPORTANT!

#3 x 1″ Round Head Wood Screws
Wood mounting screws are screwed to the body/ wood – under the pickguard – and these require a larger hole in the pickup – so we will re-drill the mounting holes in the pickup to fit the wood screws.
#4 – 40UNC Phillips Pan Head Pickguard Screws
Pickguard screws are used for mounting the pickup on the pickguard – this way the pickup height can be adjusted without removing the pickguard.
