For some reason, A4 alloy isn’t commonly used for single coils, even though it can deliver a great mix between A2 and A5 tones, making them highly versatile and balanced across the frequency spectrum.
A4 magnets provide a warm and smooth sound, less aggressive than Alnico 5 magnets with a nice balance of clarity and warmth.
These pickups are designed to accentuate the midrange frequencies, which makes them ideal for classic rock, blues, and jazz genres. The emphasis on the midrange gives your tone an added sweetness.
