In this set Alnico 5 magnets are used for the low E, A, and D strings to ensure a tight and focused bass. Alnico 2 magnets are utilized for the G, B, and high E strings to produce a softer and smoother high frequency response.
The bridge pickup, hotter at around 6.7kOhm, complements the classic middle at 6.1kOhm and the low-output neck at 5.6kOhm, delivering some great twang and signature Stratocaster tones with some extra bite in the bridge position.
