DUMMY PICKUP COIL is designed to be wired with an existing magnetic single coil guitar pickup. Its purpose is to remove 50-60Hz cycle hum / buzz associated with single coil pickups.
When wired in series with single coil pickup it will darken the tone by taking away some of the high freq.- wired in parallel it will increase the high freq. – both types of connections will ensure noiseless operation.
Q Pickups Ferrous Core Dummy Coil is wound around NON-MAGNETIZED steel slugs for increased inductance and flawless noise canceling properties.
