Polarity is SOUTH on the top of the pickup.
Without steel baseplate and with thinner wire (AWG 43) used, this pickup will sound more like a HOT Stratocaster bridge pickup. High output and Alnico 5 MAGNETS will compensate for the lack of baseplate, providing extra middle and high freq..

Vintage-spec flatwork (black vulcanized fiber) with brass eyelets, correct vintage style white cotton 8-strand string to protect the coil.
Screws and springs are included.
Handwound, USA parts, Elektrisola 43 AWG pickup wire, black fiber bobbin flatwork , vintage style push-back wire, wax potted(paraffin and bee`s wax).
Scatter wound, fully charged magnets.
