Vintage 51 Precision Bass pickup – handcrafted by Q Pickups.

The tone is warm and full, with lots of headroom and extra midrange punch. A tight low end and a classic character.

 

  • DC resistance 6,8kOhm @20°C
  • hand wound with 42AWG wire
  • vulcanized fiberboard flatwork
  • vintage staggered hand beveled Alnico 5 magnets
  • north up /ccw
  • the coil is wrapped with period correct black cotton string
  • cloth covered push-back hookup cables
  • included are screws suitable for mounting on wood
  • pole spacing is 53.47mm (2.105 in.) 
  • wax potted

Handling and production time is 3 – 5 business days. Orders with larger quantity of pickups (5 or more pcs) might take longer.
