Chrome –Â Chrome can be identified as having a slightly blue tint when compared to nickel plating. Chrome is a very durable finish and is the most common color used for hardware except for old vintage instruments.
Raw (No Plating) –Â This is truly an unfinished pickup cover. It is a pickup cover without any processing done so it can show light scuffing, scratching, and oil from the manufacturing process. The look of raw covers can easily be changed by sanding to create a brushed look or light polishing to make them appear aged. Many will use also use them as is.
