– hand\/scatter wound with thicker AWG42 Enamel Wire as used on Stratocaster pickups @ 6.0 kOhm<\/p>\n

– vintage specs BLACK flatwork \/vulcanized fiberboard<\/p>\n

– VINTAGE STAGGERED and beveled Alnico V magnets<\/p>\n

– wax potted<\/p>\n

– cloth covered push back wire<\/p>\n

– the coil is protected with black paper pickup tape<\/p>\n

– polarity is SOUTH UP<\/p>\n

#3 x 1″ Round Head Wood Screws – this is the way Fender did it back in the day;
\nWood mounting screws are screwed to the body\/ wood – under the pickguard – and these require a larger hole in the pickup – so we will re-drill the mounting holes in the pickup to fit the wood screws. <\/i><\/p>\n

#4 – 40UNC Phillips Pan Head Pickguard Screws<\/b><\/i>
